According to the American Academy of Dermatology, indoor tanning has caused a “75 percent increase in the risk of melanoma in those who have been exposed to UV radiation from indoor tanning.” Not only is the risk for dangerous skin cancers heightened, but UVA and UVB rays damage your skin’s elastins causing premature wrinkling and sagging. Currently, 30 states restrict indoor tanning use by minors- by either banning it altogether or by requiring parental consent.

- Hydrate: Make sure that you keep your skin moisturized during the three days preceeding your spray tanning session.

- Hair Removal: Any hair removal should be done the night before your spray tanning session.
